LeBron Returns, Cavs Dominate Pistons 104-81

LeBron James returned to action on Friday night after resting on Wednesday in Indiana.

He looked well-rested and the Cavs followed up that loss with a dominant 104-81 victory at home over the Detroit Pistons (6-7).

LeBron scored 21 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting, playing only 28 minutes.

Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 25 points and dished out a season-high 11 assists, one shy of his career-high.

Kevin Love posted his ninth double-double in 12 games to start the season (12 points, 13 rebounds) and Tristan Thompson grabbed 14 boards, blocking four shots.

Our Role Player of the Game is J.R. Smith, who missed the last three games due to an ankle injury and did not miss a beat in his return to the court.

Smith knocked down 3-of-4 three-point attempts in the first quarter, passing Dirk Nowitzki to move into 15th all-time in made three’s in NBA history. He finished with nine points on the night.

The Cavs (10-2) now get four days off between games and are back in action on Wednesday night at home vs. the Portland Trail Blazers (7-7).
