Some Early Browns Offensive Breakdowns; Who Starts Over Who in 2018?

By Michael Rodgers

The Cleveland Browns will look very different in 2018. New Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley will bring a new playbook to Cleveland and he’ll have plenty of weapons in his arsenal. Here is a breakdown of the offense and predicted starters.

Quarterback position: The Cleveland Browns completely revamped their QB room for the upcoming season. Last years team was lead by DeShone Kizer with Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan backing him up. This year’s team will be lead by Tyrod Taylor, who will be backed up by the 1st overall pick, Baker Mayfield and long time veteran journeyman Drew Stanton.

Expect Taylor to start and keep the job for the entirety of the season and Mayfield will be the backup. Assuming everything goes as planned Mayfield will be on the bench for the season. Taylor is a seasoned veteran that lead Buffalo to the playoffs for the first time in 18 years. The Browns have a very talented offense and that should help Taylor possibly have a career year.

Starter Prediction: Tyrod Taylor
