Cleveland’s own Jessica Eye will try to turn around what has been a dismal UFC run thus far tonight in Singapore. She obtained her first win in nearly 3 years back in January with a split decision victory over Kalindra Faria.  Before that razor thin decision win, she had lost four straight dating back to 2015.

Eye is 2-5-1 during her UFC stint, she could have had 3 wins but was busted for smoking pot after her defeat of Sarah Kaufman.  Apparently, she didn’t realize the UFC tested for illegal narcotics.  One may never know, but it was a win that she could have used.  Since then, her career has been mostly on the down side.

Eye will have her hands full tonight from Singapore as she takes on Jessica Rose Clark.  The Australian native is making only her second appearance in a UFC cage, but this will be her 14th pro MMA fight.  She comes into this clash at a mark of 9-4-1.

Fresh off of a win against Paige Van Zant, Clark is seen as a top contender for UFC Women’s Flyweight Gold.  A win over Eye in convincing fashion may just be enough to get the next shot at current champion Nicco Montano.  Eye’s straight forward stand up style may be perfect for Clark to take down and pound.  Clark needs to Eye down, and keep her down.

The Eye vs Clark match is only one of four solid bouts on the main card.  The main portion of the card will also feature matchups between Li Jinglian vs Daichi Abe, OVP vs Tyson Pedro and a main event of Donald Cerrone vs Lean Edwards.

Predictions below

Donald Cerrone over Leon Edwards

Ovince Saint Preux over Tyson Pedro

Jessica Rose Clark over Jessica Eye

Li Jingliang over Daichi Abe
