The WWE Universe Hates Roman Reigns – Here’s Five Reasons Why

1. He’s a McMahon/White Meat Babyface Creation

Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, John Cena, ect. Those are the types of guys that Vince McMahon over the years has gotten behind as his ‘face’ of the WWE, and while most of those wrestlers have been accepted by the WWE fan base, Reigns just has not.

A very possible reason for the fans hating on Reigns is that McMahon in the eyes of the WWE Universe is perceived as a ‘heel’ character, and thus the wrestler that he’s behind should be treated like a heel.

Fans are smart, they read the internet, they see the direction most storylines are headed before they happen, and they knew that Reigns was a McMahon creation, and it they crapped all over it.

It’s a tough sell for fans to think that Reigns isn’t getting a special push from McMahon and the creative team, and they see it and have treated it with nothing but negative feedback.
