It was confirmed earlier today, and now UFC Heavyweight champion and Northeast Ohio resident Stipe Miocic will make his second title defense. It will be at UFC 211 in Dallas on May 13.
His opponent, Junior Dos Santos is the last person to have beaten Miocic in a five round war back in December of 2014.
Stipe last fought back in September, at home at Quicken Loans Arena and knocked out number one contender Alistair Overeem in the very first round in front of an electric crowd. The win for Stipe was his fourth straight, and his 7th of 8 overall, with that sole loss being against Junior Dos Santos.
The event will be the fourth that the UFC has hosted in Dallas.
