Top 3 Predictions for a Surprise Return/Debut in the 2017 Royal Rumble Match

3. Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega might be a far fetched choice but I am just getting a strong feeling that he will be making his WWE Debut at the Royal Rumble. For those of you that are unfamiliar with independent professional wrestler, Kenny Omega here is some highlights below of a fantastic match against Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 11 for New Japan Pro Wrestling that happened on January 4,2017 .

Following the outstanding match with Okada , Kenny Omega went to Twitter to make an odd announcement.

Kenny Omega has recently made an appearance on Talk is Jericho hosted by Chris Jericho. Following the announcement of Omega stepping away from Japan for a while speculation began that Kenny Omega might be headed to the WWE which is odd because Omega previously stated in an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated :

“I would rather be the legend that never stepped foot in WWE but was better than every single one of them and did something that none of those guys could do in their prime or could ever do if they left WWE and tried.”

John Cena had also posted a picture of Kenny Omega to his Instagram causing even more speculation , Cena did something similar last year with AJ Styles and Styles showed up to the Royal Rumble.

Casual WWE fans might not know much about Omega but if he does debut in the Rumble match, fans will learn very quickly who he is. If Omega does indeed make his way to the WWE that will be another Bullet Club member added.
