The Browns Running Back Spot is Full of Stars, Can They Work Together to Reach Lofty Heights?

There has been plenty of speculation as to how touches in the Browns offense will go in 2019 with the likes of both Nick Chubb and pickup Kareem Hunt patrolling the backfield.

It’s well known that Hunt is going to miss half of the season after violating the leagues personal conduct policy,

Hunt took center stage on Wednesday, speaking to the media and admitted making mistakes and said he’s “doing everything I can to prevent something like that from happening again.”

The eight games are an audition of sorts for Hunt, who will again be a free agent following the 2019 campaign.

Chubb, who will be the starter at the running back spot come opening day, said Wednesday that the relationship between he and Hunt couldn’t be better.

“He is cool. He is a great guy. I’m enjoying having him as a teammate, just as a person,” Chubb said.

“He keeps you laughing, he keeps you up always on the high. oA high-spirited guy. On the field, he is what I see him do. When I was back in college and he was at Kansas City, also last year, he makes plays. You see it. We see it right now in OTAs.”

Hunt in his time on the platform in Berea seemed somber, ready to put the nightmare of 2018 and the off the field issues behind him.

“It definitely changed me a lot as a person and just helping me become a stronger person, bettering myself and figuring out things that I can work on to be better,” Hunt said.

The Browns have a backfield that could set up to be the best in the NFL if things go their way. On the other hand, things had better go well or it could make for some explosivvve==
