Preview: Pressure on the Indians as Carrasco Looks to Help Tribe Even Up the ALDS in Houston

2. Classic Carrasco

Carlos Carrasco was 1-1 against the Astros in 2018, as he allowed allowed eight earned runs in his two starts against Houston, and he allowed three homers.

He was very good late in the 2018 season, as over his final 18 starts (20 appearances) he had a 2.64 ERA with 158 strikeouts, and he will need that same type of strong outing to hold the Astros in check.

It was the second time in the order that got Corey Kluber in trouble on Friday, and the inning in which he had to throw over 30 pitches, seemed to take quite a bit out of him.

Carrasco needs to get in a groove early, and needs to make sure that he stays under control and does not allow calls against him or a base runner or two to allow things to get out of control.
