1. Yesterday’s extra-inning affair

The Indians fell to the Tigers on Saturday 4-2 in what ended up being a 12-inning walk-off win for Detroit. Jeimer Candelario recorded a two-run homer to seal the deal.

Check out three takeaways from the game here.

2. Kluber vs. Lewicki

Corey Kluber last pitched on Tuesday against the Brewers when he earned his ninth win of the year after giving up just one run and striking out seven in seven innings of work. Back in April, he recorded a season-high 13 strikeouts against the Tigers.

He will face off on the hill against Artie Lewicki, who is getting another shot after a spot start against the Boston Red Sox. They put up four runs on the starter.

3. Looking ahead

Following Sunday’s afternoon contest, the Tribe will head to Chicago for a four-game series against the White Sox.

After they wrap up that series, they will return home on Friday for a nine-game homestand. During that homestand, they will have three more games against both Chicago and Detroit.
