Preview: Indians Look to Rebound Following Monday’s 7-0 Shutout to Pirates as Bieber Returns to the Mound

CLEVELAND – Monday was not a good night for the Indians, as they were blasted by the red-hot Pittsburgh Pirates 7-0 in a rain-shortened game at Progressive Field.

Corey Kluber again had issues, allowing a three-run homer to Josh Harrison after the Indians defense gave a couple extra outs to the Pirates in the second inning, and by the time it was over it was a 4-0 game.

Things didn’t get much better after a second rain delay, as the Pirates struck three more times to go up 7-0, and a third rain delay after the 6th inning finished the affair.

Tonight Shane Bieber is back for the Tribe, making his return to the rotation after a trip back to Columbus so he could keep working during the All-Star break.

He’s got his work cut out for him, as the Pirates have won now 10 straight, the most by the black and gold in 14 seasons.

Here’s a look at tonight’s game with a quick preview.
