PREVIEW: Cavs look for turnaround amid three-game road trip

3. Crowder cruising at charity stripe

Sustaining a slim lead in the final minute of a game is optimal when sharpshooters like Love, Green and Kyle Korver – all shooting above 85.5% from the free-throw line this year – are on the floor.

Crowder is another name to consider when attempting to seal a tightly contested affair.

The five-year power forward out of Marquette University is shooting 90.2% from the charity stripe through 34 contests with the Cavs. In addition, he has sunk 13 consecutive free throws dating back to Nov. 30.

Although his numbers are lower than the last two seasons on the Celtics, Crowder is proving to be a reliable option in other facets of the game.
