PREVIEW: Cavaliers head to Philadelphia to test the process

1. Vets vs. young core

While the Cavs have been relying on their veterans during their win streak, they will go against a team that has trusted the process through years of tanking and lottery picks. This year, that process may finally be starting to pay off with their young, talented core.

The most impressive part about this Philly team is their speed, as they currently rank fourth in the league in pace. Last week against Portland, they went on a 16-0 run to start the game. They are also coming off of a season-high point total in their 130-111 win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday, and are second in the NBA in assists behind the Golden State Warriors.

But perhaps more importantly, this isn’t a Philly team that is content with taking losses anymore, no matter how talented their opponent is.

In the days leading up to this game, the Cavs seem to be keenly aware of that fact and are expecting an intense atmosphere.
