Preview: Can the Indians Solve the Edwin Jackson Puzzle with Kluber on the Mound Against the A’s?

1. Kluber Looks to Keep the Train Rolling

The Indians and their fans were stunned on June 26th in St.Louis when Corey Kluber turned in his shortest outing of his career, but as he did earlier in June when he struggled, he quickly was back to form his next time out.

On Monday against the Royals he went six innings, giving up three runs on seven hits with no walk and five K’s as the Indians pounded the KC 12-4.

Other than the hiccup against the Twins at home, Kluber has been so steady at Progressive Field it’s tough to think he’ll have a misstep against the A’s today, as back on June 1st of last season at home he went six shutout innings in a Tribe 8-0 win.
