3. The Undertaker vs Triple H – WrestleMania XXVIII
This ‘Hell in a Cell’ battle was labeled as the ‘End of an Era’ and really was if you look at everything that went into it. Taker was entering a phase where he was the best wrestler in Mania history, HHH was at the end of his run as a full-time performer, and Shawn Michaels was in retirement but came back to be the ref in this 30 minute battle. It was a great physical match, and also had plenty of mind games involved as it looked more than once that Taker would finally lose a match at Mania. Instead, he finally put away HHH, and the three men embraced one last time on the biggest stage in the sport.
