4 of the 5 Men in The Fatal 5-Way Can Very Easily Win The Match and Earn the Shot at Brock Lesnar
One of the rare great things about having a guy like Lesnar as champion, is despite his “Heel” persona, he remains extremely popular and the WWE knows that. They have already teased the fact that he will eventually feud with Braun Strowman. This just proves that Lesnar is a polarizing figure and will keep fans guessing as to who his opponents in the future will be.
Thus, there’s no reason not to think that either a Heel or a Face can win the main event on Sunday and get a title shot at him. The smart money remains on Finn Balor who is peaking in popularity as we speak.
Rollins has also been rock solid since coming back from injury at WrestleMania 33 and the WWE has faith in him if need be. The two heels in the match are Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe. Two bulls, one is a pure Heel in Joe who get’s boo’d constantly. The other, Wyatt, a man fans are just aching to cheer for but maybe too creeped out to do so.
With that being said, it only leaves one man, Roman Reigns. While it is not exactly a well kept secret, many people already know the plan is for Lesnar to hold the strap until WrestleMania 34, before losing it to Reigns. You’d have too believe the WWE has no plans to rush that, which pretty much all but erases Roman Reigns from this match as a winner.
The smart money is that WWE creative sticks to their original plan and you see Balor win Sunday. Get crushed next month at the Great Balls of Fire PPV against Lesnar. A returning Strowman loses to Lesnar at SummerSlam making the beast look untouchable, until once again, it is Reigns getting the shine and taking him down on the biggest stage of the all, WrestleMania 34 next April?
A big part of that puzzle will be answered this Sunday Night!
