Cleveland State Men’s Hoops Travel to Milwaukee for Horizon League Action

GAME PREVIEW:
• Cleveland State continues its four-game road swing with an 8:00 pm ET contest at Milwaukee on Friday (Jan. 20).
• The Vikings are 6-13 overall (2-5 HL) after a 76-65 win at Oakland on Monday (Jan. 16) night. 
• Milwaukee enters the game at 5-14 overall (1-5 HL), falling at UIC, 71-57, on Tuesday (Jan. 17) night. 
• Friday’s game will be broadcast on AM 1420, WHK, with Al Pawlowski providing the call.
• The game will also be shown live on ESPN3.

THE MILWAUKEE SERIES:
• Milwaukee leads the all-time series with CSU, 25-20. 
• The Panthers had won three straight in the series before a 62-53 win by CSU on Dec. 31 in the second League game of the season.
• CSU is 7-16 all-time in Milwaukee.

GAME 19 REVIEW: CSU 76, @OAKLAND 65 (1/16/17): 
• CSU never trailed as the Vikings earned their first road win of the season, 76-65, at Oakland on Monday night. 
• Rob Edwards scored a career-high 32 points in the win, hitting 10-of-14 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three-point. 
• Edwards also grabbed seven rebounds.
• Kasheem Thomas tied his career-high with 16 points, adding three rebounds and four assists. 
• Demonte Flannigan added 11 points, while Evan Clayborne tallied four points and five rebounds.
• The Vikings held a 36-32 advantage on the boards and hit 20-of-28 from the free throw line.

UP NEXT:
• The Vikings conclude their trip through Wisconsin on Monday (Jan. 23) with a 7:00 pm ET game at Green Bay.
• CSU concludes its four-game road swing with a 7:00 pm contest at Youngstown State on Saturday (Jan. 28).
