Rico Abreu will return to Eldora Speedway with the Camping World Truck Series and Sandusky-based ThorSport Racing. Abreu made the announcement Friday in a story on motorsport.com. Abreu saying he will run the same truck he finished 3rd in last year at Eldora.
Abreu was a rookie in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series last year, finishing 13th in the points standings. Lack of sponsorship cost him a fulltime ride with ThorSport in 2017. Abreu was just at Eldora on June 17th with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during Ohio Sprint Speedweek where he finished 2nd.
The NCWTS rolls into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) July 18th and 19th. July 18th will feature truck series practice and a full show with the big-block modifieds. The truck race will follow on the 19th as will another full show with the big-block modifieds.
