4.) Choking Justin Roberts out with his own necktie
In June of 2010 Daniel Bryan along with all of the Season 1 “Rookies” of NXT (Nexus) made their debut during the John Cena vs CM Punk match. Nexus went through the crowd and went on to attack Cena, Punk, Luke Gallows, Jerry Lawler, Matt Striker, and Justin Roberts. Nexus destroyed the turnbuckles, the safety mats, flipped over the announce table, and lastly destroyed the ring. Daniel Bryan choked Justin Roberts with his own necktie and then spit in the face of John Cena and told him that, “You are NOT better than me” . This was during the beginning of the PG-Era in WWE and since Daniel Bryan had done something like that, WWE had thought that it was too violent for PG rating sake and released him.
