3 Takeaways from WWE Smackdown Live

The Smackdown Women’s Roster is starting to gain serious steam!

As recently as WrestleMania is was crystal clear that the Raw women’s roster was leaps and bounds better then Smackdown Live.  It is amazing how the one little acquisition of Charlotte Flair has changed everything.

The women’s division on Smackdown continues to be one of it’s strengths as it showed again tonight with the 5-way match to earn a shot at Naomi’s title. Excellent pop from the crowd after the Charlotte powerbomb of Nattie.  It wasn’t a match as much as it was a 5-way brawl that led to pure chaos and the actual match never got off the ground.

Great job all the way around by Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Tamina, Nattie and Carmella.  They have everyone’s attention, as well they should and it led to a ground-breaking move.  For the first time ever, there will be a Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match.  The only “Diva” I don’t care about, Naomi, won’t even be in the match, making things all that much better! As much as they miss the five star prospect Alexa Bliss, Smackdown live is making the most out of the energy Charlotte has brought with her to the Blue Brand.

Breezedango arguably the dumbest gimmick for two future TNA wrestlers. Who is this Shinsuke guy? He looks like a Japanese Michael Jackson in his red leather coat. It almost looks like he is doing the moonwalk when he is making his way to the ring. Not a fan. Not a fan at all. Very odd, to say the least.
