Reaction – Lana is best suited to by the mouthpiece for Rusev while Naomi should not be on the main roster at all. Both miscast here.
Jinder Mahal vs Randy Orton for the WWE Heavyweight Champion
Result – Jinder Mahal pins Orton to retain the belt
Reaction – No title’s changed hands tonight, as it was pretty much par for the course as expected. The day’s of Randy Orton headlining a Pay Per View as a champion seem to be over.
It will be interesting to see how much longer they let Mahal run with this is as he continues to try and shake his 3MB moniker and be a force on Smackdown. To beat Orton in his hometown, in front of the legends and his father, on fathers day, is a huge step in that direction.
