Result – Carmella wins the Money In The Bank Briefcase
Reaction – Ummm, what? NO one saw that coming. A great match as expected but with a bizarre ending that saw James Ellsworth climb the ladder and throw the briefcase down to Carmella for the win.
A twist for sure, but with as good as this match was, I can’t help but wonder if they hold up the result, and make them do it again at Summerslam?
The New Day vs The Uso’s for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship
Result – The Uso’s get counted out to retain their belts but lose the match.
Reaction – While I didn’t see the New Day winning the belts tonight, I was surprised the creative team took the cheap way out with a count out. I fully expected a cheating victory setting up a rematch at Summerslam. Either way, this leaves the door wide open for that match to happen again.
Maria Kanellis is back and she brought her husband Mike with her, who has apparently taken her last name as well?
