WrestleMania 33: Preview and Prediction of Both Women’s Title Matches

It was a year ago at WrestleMania 32 that the “Diva’s’ title was disbanded forever, and the newly minted “Women’s World Championship” was introduced by Lita to stay!

Later that night, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks went on to have the match of the night! Since then the Women’s Division on RAW has went on to headline several Monday Night’s, and even a Pay Per View (Hell in the Cell).

WrestleMania 33 will boast not one, but two Women’s title matches. And once again, they should both be very good!

The First One is a bit of a mystery, but one still worth watching on the Pre -Show as Smackdown Women’s Champ Alexa Bliss takes on every woman on the Smackdown Roster in defense of her title. Here is a preview of each, and my prediction of who will win!

Carmella

Desperately trying to reclaim some of the buzz she had in NXT with Enzo and Cass, she continues to come up short and is now stuck with a dork like James Elseworthless by her side. I do not see a title victory for her coming anytime soon.

Natalya

There is no more deserving woman on the entire roster then Natalya to go over for the title at a WrestleMania. Sadly, WWE creative simply doesn’t seem to like her, and they continue to use her as a gatekeeper. I’d be shocked to see her win, and the chances are slim at best. But we have seen veterans awarded at Mania before, ala Henry at 29, thus it could happen! But again, to repeat, it won’t!

Becky Lynch

After an initial run with the title, she has cooled off a bit as of late. She is still the best pound for pound female wrestler on the blue brand, and clear fan favorite. As much as her winning the title would make sense, I simply don’t see it happening over Mickie James or a returning Naomi.

Mickie James

This is another case of Mickie James being a smart choice to win, but we know how WWE loves to punish performers who left them for TNA and even WCW back in the day. With that in mind, I see James being a long shot to win this at best.

Naomi

This returning Diva is probably the safest pick to unseat Bliss as champion. All signs point to it as why else would she rush back from injury not to win it? She is the odd’s on favorite as the story tells itself. She never lost the belt after winning it from Bliss.

Alexa Bliss

Bliss is my pick to win, and here’s why. She has quietly become one of the most dependable women on the roster. She is healthy, young and most importantly, hungry. You can sense her passion in every match. She could have very well went the same way as Dana Brooke on RAW, but Bliss went a different path and is using incredible performances every time out to carry the division.

RAW Women’s Championship features a four way between Nia Jax, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Champion Bayley.

WWE has spent nearly a year building the story of the Women’s Match for the RAW championship. Charlotte has been dominant with 5 title runs during this stretch, and is not even the champion heading into WrestleMania.

There is no denying the popularity behind Bayley, but things have gotten very awkward with her and Sasha Banka as of late. Nia Jax is a beast and looks un beatable at times.

With all that being said, the money maker of the RAW women’s division, has been and will remain Charlotte. Look for her to regain the strap at WrestleMania this Sunday.
