WATCH: Indians-Royals delayed as field floods beneath outfield fountain

KANSAS CITY– The Indians-Royals game went into delay as the outfield warning track began to flood … but not because of rain.

Beneath the large waterfall fountain that is in the outfield of Kauffman Stadium, water began flowing onto the outfield warning track and into both bullpens.

Currently, the grounds crew is attempting to clean up as water continues to gush onto the field. We’ll keep you posted on the status of the game, but for now, check out the video of the flooding.
