Warriors Taint NBA Finals Championship Celebration

By Apollo – Cleveland Sports Talk

It has a bit to do with my obvious Cleveland bias, but I felt that the Warriors totally disrespected the championship celebration as a matter-of-fact type of deal. Honestly, once the team signed Kevin Durant, it was either going to be injuries or the Cavs that would have any chance to stop them from reclaiming the title. Unfortunately, neither could stop the powerhouse out west.

While all of us Cavs fans held on to the faint hope that the team would make another miraculous comeback, there was no #35 on the Warriors last year. Kevin Durant is a sellout; he’s someone that took the easy way out in order to win it all. It’s similar to what LeBron did back in 2010 but so much worse. Durant may have a ring, but he is no champion.

So the Warriors win Game 5, get up on the podium and they’re all with this, “Yeah, whatever, we knew with was going to happen” type of attitude. Well, when you’re the best team ever and you sign the second-best player, that’s what’s going to happen.
