Urban Meyer’s Dominance of Penn State: By the Numbers

As #2 Ohio State takes on Penn State (4-2), all signs point towards a convincing victory for the Buckeyes.

Head coach Urban Meyer is 20-0 in true road games (road games not played at a neutral site) in his five seasons at Ohio State.

Here is a look at Meyer’s head-to-head games vs. Penn State since his arrival to Columbus.

2012 at Penn State W 35-23
2013 Home W 63-14
2014 at Penn State W 31-24 2 OT
2015 Home W 38-24

We’ll see if the Nittany Lions can at least make it interesting, but with Ohio State getting over a hurdle in their double overtime win at Wisconsin, that emotional victory could jumpstart the team to raise their play to yet another level.

The Buckeyes hope to take care of business in these next two weeks against Penn State and Northwestern, with a more formidable test looming on Nov. 5 when the #8 Nebraska Cornhuskers come to the Shoe.
