Travis Davis Wins Big To Close Out Great Night Of Fights At Iron Tiger 79

Iron Tiger fight Series took over Columbus on Friday night, live from Express Live downtown.  The action was red hot as it is with any Alliance MMA promotion and the fans were treated to a wild, action packed and hard hitting night of fights!  7 of the 10 fights ended in the first round.

Cody Brundage vs Jeremy Baker

Result – Brundage by KO at the 12 second mark of the first round.

Summary – The fans didn’t even have time to take a sip of the beer before Baker hit the canvas.  Brundage looked incredible tonight as Amanda Cooper cheered him loudly from cageside in his corner.

 

Luke Chokan vs Isaiah Isaacs

Result-  Chokan by Tri-Angle Choke at the 43 second mark.

Summary –  Chokan was amazing working from his back, and he worked quick to sink in the choke.  He had too absorb a few blows from the mount of Isaacs, but it was worth it as he got his hand raised.

 

Amber Blevins vs Brigid Chase

Result- Chase by ref stoppage at the 2:45 mark of the first round.

Summary – Write down the name of Brigid Chase and don’t forget it for a long time.  This young lady was incredible tonight and will be a world champion one day.  Bank on it!  She did everything perfectly!

 

Marcus Crawford vs Andre Small

Result-Crawford by UD 30-27 across the board

Summary- Three straight rounds of Small landing a shot, then being taken down immediately and grounded by Crawford.

 

Joe Neill vs Dave Bever

Result – Neil by guillitone at 1:57 of the first round.

Summary – This was an emotional fight in honor of the memory of young Gunnar Parill who passed away a year ago from cancer.  Both men wore their hearts on their sleeves and swung for the fences early.  It wouldn’t last long as Neill would corral Bever and bloody his nose before eventually putting him to sleep.

After coming too, Bever delivered an emotional and heartfelt speech about life and faith that didn’t leave a dry eye in the house. It is to note as well that Bever never gave up, but went out on his sword like a true warrior tonight.

 

Daniel Hague vs Skyler Bray

Result – Hague by Split Decision.

Summary – Skyler Bray used his quick hands to win the standup game in the first round, but then it was all Hague from there.  Hague, a wrestling standout in college fell back on what he knows best to win the next two rounds on the ground and take the fight.

 

Keith Speed vs Jake Miller

Result – Jake Miller by Tapout at 2:47 of the first round.

Summary – Miller wasted little time using incredible BJJ to pick up his first pro win and take no damage in the process.

 

Marquis Allen vs Aaron Bush

Result –  Bush by UD 30-27

Summary – Bush out wrestled Allen for three straight rounds by using an excellent ground and pound attack.

 

Emme Weber vs Vanessa Demopoulos

Result –  Demopoulos by armbar submission at 4:36 of the first round.

Summary – Vanessa Demopoulos spent the entire fight on her back working for submission holds.  She finally landed it as the first round was about to come to a close. Demopouls wins her first pro fight and showed a lot of techinques doing it.

 

Alan Stewart vs Travis Davis

Result – Davis by submission at 2:47 of the first round.

Summary – Textbook attack by Davis tonight.  Took the back, stretched out Stewart and then sunk in the rear naked choke.
