In a throwback to summer 2016, shirtless J.R. Smith shows up at LeBron James Family Foundation event

SANDUSKY– Shirtless J.R. Smith has reemerged.

On Tuesday night, LeBron James held his annual “We Are Family Reunion” for the LeBron James Family Foundation at Cedar Point, and Smith came along for the ride… Without his shirt.

Shirtless J.R. Smith, of course, made plenty of appearances after the Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Finals. In fact, he became such a staple that everyone from late night talk show hosts to former President Barack Obama made jokes about it.

As James sat on stage in a fake roller coaster car, Smith joined him.

“J.R. … J.R. … J.R. … where’s your shirt?” James asked Smith.

“I need that workout,” Shirtless J.R. replied. “I’m over there striving for greatness, you know that.” Smith was referencing a pick-up game that James played earlier in the day with Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony.
