Three Moves The Cleveland Browns Need To Make Today

After a 12-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, the Cleveland Browns are now 0-7 and have solidified themselves as the worst team in all of professional sports.  While nothing may save this team, there is absolutely 3 moves they need to make this week, or else an 0-16 season is in their immediate future.

RELEASE KENNY BRITT

Not only is he a waste of a valuable roster spot, but as he was with other teams, he appears to be a cancer and negative influence in the locker room.  Britt signed a 4-year multimillion dollar deal on the first day of free agency last spring, he has greatly underwhelmed!

Not only has his play on the field been abysmal, but his attitude off the field has been even worse.  Let’s start with his stats, with too many balls dropped to count, he had only caught 8 balls for 121 yards with 1 touchdown heading into Sunday’s contest against Tennessee.  He didn’t do anything to help his cause Sunday, with several more drops and routes ran incorrectly.

If his on field play wasn’t bad enough, late last week reports came out of him missing curfew in Houston with the young and impressionable Corey Coleman.  Sure, the Browns have committed to paying him millions upon millions of dollars over the next four seasons.  They did the same with Brock Osweiler and still cut him.  They need to cut Britt too.  He is far too large of a distraction and it will only get worse.

We saw Mike Pettine lose control of a team and they were never the same because he couldn’t and wouldn’t lay the blame where needed, and discipline players when he could.  If Hue Jackson, Sashi Brown and the rest of the front office don’t make a statement soon, they will lose total control of this team, or what little they actually have left.
