Three ISC Players Called Up to U-18 Women’s National Team Camp

The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team and the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team will hold concurrent training camps at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., from Oct. 21-28.

Three Internationals SC players, Sydney Dawson, Jordan Brewster, and Loren Sefcik, have been called up to the U-18 Women’s National Team as part of this camp.

“After coming off such a successful tournament with the U19 WNT in China where they both started in games against Japan and China and helped contribute to the team’s championship, it is no surprise to see Sydney and Jordan invited back into camp this month,” Internationals SC Founder, President, and Director of Coaching Zdravko Popovic commented. “They continue to focus on the details of their game and it shows in their performance at the highest level.  We are also happy to see Loren get her second call-up this fall and believe that her confidence and comfort will continue to grow with each opportunity.  Loren’s quickness and technical ability to solve pressure in tight spaces make her difficult to contain.”

U.S. U-18 WNT head coach Jaime Frias has named 28 players for his camp.

“I’m very grateful for this opportunity to prove myself again and train with the top players in the country,” Sefcik added. “They challenge me both physically and mentally to become a better player. It should be a fun week.”
