St. Ignatius Moves On To Quarterfinals, Defeats Brecksville-Broadview Heights 11-0

BROOKLYN, Ohio- The defending State Champion St. Ignatius Wildcats took the ice for second-round action against the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees.

The Wildcats struck for eight goals in the first frame to open up their District play. Connor McGowan, Seth Whitney (2), John Coughlin, Matthew Wiegandt and Bill Baumann were all credited with a goal in the opening period.

The Wildcats would strike for three more markers in the middle stanza and win the game 11-0 after two periods due to OHSAA rules.

The Wildcats await the winner of Avon/Brooklyn.
