Report: Pettine to Be Fired Following 7pm Meeting with Owner Jimmy Haslam

CLEVELAND – The meeting between Browner owner Jimmy Haslam and coach Mike Pettine is set for 7pm according to Adam Schefter at ESPN, and at that time the Browns coach is expected to be fired.

Pettine said following the game he was not aware when his meeting with Haslam would be, but now it appears it will be tonight.

“I don’t, but I’m sure – end of year meeting always comes very quickly,” Pettine said. “It could be tonight. I’m going to go back to the office so it could be tonight, could be tomorrow.”
