Report: Derrick Rose To Meet With Cavs

Yesterday, news broke that Derrick Rose is in talks with the Cavaliers to sign a one-year deal.

Now, per a new report from ESPN’s Chris Haynes, Rose is expected to have a “face-to-face meeting” with the Cavs.

Haynes also said no decision is expected until next week, but the meeting will occur in the coming days.

The Cavs have supposedly offered the former league MVP a one-year deal for $2.1 million. Rose averaged 18 points, 4.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 64 games with the New York Knicks last season.

Haynes reported yesterday that Rose met with the Los Angeles Lakers. He has also previously met with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
