Preview: Indians Back Home for Battle with Pirates in First Meeting Since 2015

CLEVELAND – It must feel like winter for the Indians as they return home to the comfort of 80 degrees and Progressive Field after a record-setting weekend in Arlington where temps with the heat index reached up to 110 degrees.

They start a short series tonight at home with the Pittsburgh Pirates before they head back on the road for some more games against AL Central foes.

The Pirates come into tonight’s play with a mark of 51-49, but in the tough NL Central they are eight games back of the front running Chicago Cubs.

Tonight they get a look at Trevor Williams who is 7-7 on the season, and they will counter with Corey Kluber, who had a shot in his knee after his last outing against the Yankees.

Here’s a look at tonight’s game with a quick preview.

Time: 7:10 p.m.

Starting Pitchers: RHP Trevor Williams (7-7, 4.36) vs. RHP Corey Kluber (12-5, 2.76)
