PREVIEW: Cavs host Thunder to round out homestand

1. 25 points away

LeBron James is just 25 points away from becoming just the seventh player to record 30,000 career points. At 33 years old, James will become the youngest player to ever accomplish the feat, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points), Karl Malone (36,928), Kobe Bryant (33,643), Michael Jordan (32,292), Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) and Dirk Nowitzki (30,808).

For context, in his career James is averaging 28.9 points per game against the Thunder. If he hits the mark this afternoon, expect play to stop to recognize the feat.
