Players To Love And Hate In Week Eight Of Fantasy Football

Hates:

QB Aaron Rodgers GB $9,000
Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been lighting up the fantasy world this year. Denver isn’t a bad team defensively either. He doesn’t need to score 1,000 points either like he might have had to against Denver the last few years to win. It’s not worth the $9,000 to start him this week.

RB Mark Ingram NO $8,000
Ingram is starting to lose touches. Spiller is healthy and getting catches and Robinson stole some of the redzone carries away from Ingram. If that’s the case Ingram will only be good for rushing yards which doesn’t have value at $8,000.

RB Latavius Murray OAK $6,900
You just don’t get to run on the Jets. There’s a reason for that. Stay away.

RB Darren McFadden DAL $6,400

He may now be in line to get most of the carries with the whole Randle situation and his performance last week. However this week they have to face the Seahawks and that doesn’t fare well for the Cowboys.

WR Dez Bryant DAL $8,000
There’s a chance that Dez may come back and play this week. I’m not going to buy into him even if he does. For starters he will have a matchup with Sherman all day. Second, we don’t know that he will truly be healthy and with it being a foot injury it may take away from his ability to explode and plant.

WR TY Hilton IND $7,700
He gets the matchup with Norman who is having a Pro Bowl quality year for the Panthers. He didn’t show up much last week either besides those two big touchdowns. I’m not sure he will be consistent enough to play this week.

WR Martavis Bryant PIT $7,200
The Bengals aren’t the best matchup to start a wide receiver against. Antonio Brown is Big Ben’s favorite target by a lot so they will feed him. Bryant is a boom or bust type guy based on his big play ability.

WR Travis Benjamin CLE $6,300
He will get matched up against Peterson or Mathieu. That’s not a fun or easy task. We also don’t know how good McCown’s shoulder is going to be.

TE Jimmy Graham SEA $6,100
I’m surprised he still costs this much. Just when we think Seattle is figuring out how to use him he goes right back to being a ghost. He will never be worth the $6,100 especially when there are a lot of good options at TE. The Cowboys have also been decent against the pass.

DEF Panthers $4,800
I don’t trust the Panthers defense this week. We complain about how bad Luck has been but the Panthers defensive line has had their fair amount of injuries this year. They are still a very good until but don’t have as much of a pass rush that would deem them free to start. Plus Andrew Luck can still make plays and he’s going to have to if they want to win their primetime game.
