The Canton McKinley Bulldogs edged the Solon Comets, 51-49, in a Division I regional final on Friday, March 10 at the Canton Civic Center.
The Bulldogs were led by 22 points from Kierstan Bell, while Solon received a team-high 16 points from Dee Bekelja along with 13 from Gabby Mitchell.
Canton McKinley advances to the Final Four at the Schottenstein Center, where the Lady Pups will take on Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame on March 17 at 6 pm.
Solon’s season comes to an end with 23 wins, three losses, a Greater Cleveland Conference Championship and a district title.
