NEOSI’s Sleepers For 2018 NFL Draft

The 2018 NFL Draft is right around the corner and the top prospects in the eyes of pundits have been identified. With that being said, NEOSI will give some of their sleepers for this upcoming draft class.

RB Chase Edmonds Fordham

Edmonds is not a big back at 5’9” 205 pounds so don’t expect him to be any kind of workhorse for a team. What he excels at is agility. No other running back beat him in the 3 cone or 20 yard shuttle showing he has that short burst quickness that running backs need. He comes from a small school but was very productive there. While he had a heavy workload in college I wouldn’t expect him to get the same in the NFL so I’m not as concerned about his durability holding him back as much as his burst and big play ability helping him shine.
