NEOSI Top 10 NBA Power Rankings for November 9th

We’re two weeks into the 2015-16 NBA season, and here’s our second of our weekly Top 10 Power Rankings.

1. Golden State Warriors (7-0)
Last Week: 1

The Warriors are rolling through competition just like last year. They clearly are on a mission to prove the doubters wrong, and are playing with a chip on their shoulder after many naysayers claim they only won the Finals because they “got lucky” due to opposing teams’ injuries.

If you can’t stay up late to watch Warriors games, just check SportsCenter the next morning, there’s guaranteed to be some ridiculous Steph Curry highlight.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers (6-1))
Last Week: 3

Since losing on opening night in Chicago, the Cavs have won six in a row. LeBron James is playing as great as ever and Kevin Love appears to be the guy Cavs fans were expecting when he was traded from Minnesota.

Although five of their six wins are against teams that did not make the playoffs last season, keep in mind they are doing this without their starting backcourt of all-star Kyrie Irving and great defender Iman Shumpert. Could we be headed for a crash course collision of Cleveland and Golden State again in June?
