Monsters To Hold First-Ever Cleveland Indians Tribute Night On January 28th

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Do you miss the Tribe and warm summer nights at Progressive Field? Well, a great way to cope with the fact that baseball doesn’t start for a few more months is to head over to Quicken Loans Arena on January 28th to watch your Cleveland Monsters take on the Chicago Wolves on Cleveland Indians Night.

Cleveland Indians mascot Slider joined the Monsters mascot Sully to show off the jerseys the team will don that night. The jersey shown above has the navy color featured in the Indians jerseys as well as the word Monsters in red script, a model based off of the Indians’ threads. Along with buttons to add to the look, the Monsters will be showing full support of their neighbors. The jerseys will be auctioned off in a silent auction during the game, while also having other jerseys auctioned off during a live auction after the game is over. Monsters Community Fund and Cleveland Indians Charities will benefit from the. Below is the video from tonight of the jersey unveiling.

Slider will be in attendance that night, as well as a couple of surprise appearances. With appearances by Campy Russell, Austin Carr, Larry Nance and many others on Cavaliers Tribute Night, you never know who will show up on these fun-filled game nights.

Cleveland Monsters COO/SVP of Franchise Operations Mike Ostrowski commented on the special night. “We are extremely excited to host our first-ever Indians Tribute Night at the Monsters game on January 28th. The entire Indians organization are great partners of ours and the Tribe took the entire city of Cleveland on a magical ride this past fall…We are honored to recognize the Indians’ great accomplishments from the 2016 season during this special, must-attend Monsters game at The Q!”
