Monsters Fall To Texas 4-2

The Cleveland Monsters were on the road Friday night to take on the Texas State. The Monsters would ultimately fall to the Stars 4-2.

Texas scored first off the stick of Remi Elie at the 3:04 mark of the first period. Cleveland would respond with two goals in a row, as Sonny Milano (12:34) and John Ramage (17:37) would help the Monsters take a 2-1 lead into intermission.

After a second frame where Patrik Nemeth would be the lone scorer at the 12:27 mark, the Monsters and the Stars would enter the final frame tied at two.

The Stars would take the lead off of a Jason Dickinson goal at the 11:18 mark. Matej Stransky would score a goal at the 14:54 mark to seal the deal for Texas. The Monsters would fail to score after the first frame, going 0-for-5 on the power play.

Cleveland is 16-13-1-2 and will once again do battle with Texas tomorrow in the Lone Star State.
