Monsters Fall To Rockford 4-1

The Cleveland Monsters took on the Rockford IceHogs again on Friday, the second time this week.

The Monsters started off rough, as Evan Mosey would get the IceHogs on the board first with a goal at the 2:54 mark of the opening frame. Jeremy Langlois would increase the lead to two with a marker at the 5:24 mark. Markus Hannikainen would split the deficit in half at the 9:31 mark with a power play goal, as the Monsters would head into the break down 2-1.

Rockford would strike for two more in the second, as Langlois (12:34) and Spencer Abbott (14:54) would increase the lead to 4-1. After a scoreless third frame, the IceHogs would claim their second straight win over the Monsters.

The Monsters fall to 23-20-2-3.
