Matthew McConaughey Takes in an Indians Game While Shooting Movie in Cleveland

It’s always a cool experience when an ‘A’ list celebrity shows up in Cleveland, and even more so when that celeb shows up to a sporting event.

Indians fans got a taste of that on Monday as Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey showed up to Progressive Field to watch the Indians take on the Tampa Bay Rays.

McConaughey is in Cleveland shooing his new movie, “White Boy Rick,” and has been filming in locations like Strongsville and even this past Friday at a drive-in in North Ridgeville.

The actor did sign some autographs, and even took a pic with Indians mascot Slider after the game.

It will be interesting to see if he sticks in town long enough for game three of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs and Celtics on Sunday night.
