Mat Insiders: WWE With Chance To Do Something New After Injury to Rollins

1. Dean Ambrose

The momentum for Ambrose has been gaining since his run as the ‘lunatic fringe’ and his really solid program over the winter with Bray Waytt.

Fans respond to him, and while his popularity is nowhere near the likes of a ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin or The Rock in his prime, a run with the title could be what puts Ambrose over the top.

What could be interesting is if the company has him go heel (bad guy) kind of like what put The Rock over when he won his first WWE Title back in 1998 at the Survivor Series.

Ambrose could use a shot in the arm and the belt and heel turn would for sure do it.
