Cleveland Browns executive VP of football operations Sashi Brown said Johnny Manziel was fined by the team for missing treatment on January 3, the day of the last regular season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brown says Manziel will meet with the team.
As recently as Sunday, January 17, new head coach Hue Jackson was quoted as saying he had not spoken with Manziel yet.
“We set expectations for our team on and off field,” Brown said in a press conference on Thursday. “Johnny [Manziel] owns a lot of this in terms of the future of his career.”
