Lakers Make Some Moves To Clear Room For LeBron James And Paul George: Timofey Mozgov Out

Tuesday brought talks all about the NBA as the 2017 NBA Draft is rapidly approaching. The Lakers and Pacers starting discussing the trade of picks number 27 and 28 for Paul George.

Trying to get out of the money trap with Timofey Mosgov’s $54M contract  that will allow money for LeBron James to come over from the Cavaliers.

Reportedly LeBron is getting pressure from his wife to make the move from Akron to the west coast and believes the Lakers would be a good fit for the aging basketball player from Cleveland who has left his home for supposed greener pastures in the past.

Granted there hasn’t been any confirmation to any of the rumors at this point no one really knows except the parties involved. It’s funny how the circus comes to town one year removed of winning the whole ball of wax here in Cleveland. Without a GM in the Cavalier front office, I doubt there is any real talks going on.

LeBron did Tweet this out Monday evening in regards to the David Griffin move from the Cavs front office in his support and gratitude.

Our own Matt Medley posted earlier that Kyrie Irving and LeBron James have reached out to Jimmy Butler,

I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned in to the whole situation as the draft approaches and the Cavs have nothing on the board as far as picks coming to them again this season due to their performance over the past three years under Griffin. It’ll be entertaining none the less to see how all of this will work itself out in the wash.Mo
