HUDSON, OHIO– On Saturday, Dec. 9, the North Royalton girls’ varsity basketball team traveled to take on Hudson High School. The Lady Bears were down at halftime, 20-16.
In the second half, the Lady Bears battled and came away with their first victory of the season by defeating the Explorers 42-37. Taiyier Parks led the team with 19 points. Scoring in double figures as well was Lauren Bockelman with 10 points. Also scoring were Sara Bockelman with five points, Jaya Harris and Krista Harbart with three points each, Macie Plagens with two points and Isabella Sprunger with 1one point.
The girls’ varsity basketball team record is now 1-4. Come cheer them on as they travel to take on Wadsworth High School on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
