Jose’s Big Day Helps Indians Snap Skid in 13-6 Win over Tigers; Three Takeaways from the Victory

CLEVELAND – After a couple brutal days of baseball for the Indians, Saturday was a lot more like it for the team many have going to the World Series in the American League, as the Tribe feasted on Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers for a 13-6 win.

The big star of the day was Jose Ramirez, who pounded his way to two homers, a career-high 6 RBI and a day in which he had four hits, setting the pace for a huge day, the biggest of the season, for the Indians offense.

Now looking to get back to .500, the Indians will try and end their first homestand of the 2017 season on a high note on Easter Sunday with a 1pm matchup with the Tigers.

For now, here’s our three takeaways from the win for the Tribe which gets them to 5-6 in 2017.
