J.R. Smith and Wife take daughter Dakota home for the First Time Ever

Cleveland Cavaliers starting shooting guard J.R. Smith and his wife have finally brought home their daughter Dakota. Dakota was born five months premature in January of this year.

Dakota was born five months premature in January of this year and spent well over 100 days in the NICU in Cleveland because she only weighed 1 pound. Dakota was intubated until late March.

Today before Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, J.R. Smith walked out of Hillcrest Hospital with Dakota and his wife. The couple can now breathe a little bit easier with their little girl at home for the first time ever.

Earlier this month, Smith updated the condition of Dakota and announced that she was a little above 6 pounds.
