Indians Warn About Recent Trend of Counterfeit Tickets at Progressive Field

Last night 30,665 fans enjoyed one of the most memorable games at Progressive Field – ending with a crazy walk-off inside the park homer to send most of the fans home happy with an Indians 3-2 win.

With a large crowd at Progressive Field, there’s always a chance of issues with fans and fake tickets, and today the Indians today tweeted out that fans had better be careful of those scamming to make a quick buck.

Note: We've seen more counterfeit tix recently @ gates.

Only way to ensure a real ticket is to purchase through https://t.co/mKVZCHnNzF.

Most 3rd party sites will ensure the tickets are real like Stubhub, but if you’re looking to buy tickets off a scalper off the street, you’re always taking a chance that the tickets are not real or in some cases may have already been emailed to another person.

As the Tribe says, the best way to not get scammed is to buy directly from the team.
