Jay Bruce looks like he’s in the right spot.
Tonight, the right-fielder had two hits with two RBI. Those RBI came in the first inning thanks to the miscommunication by the Rays third baseman Trevor Plouffe and left fielder Corey Dickerson. The ball dropped between those two players, and Bruce ended up with a double.
His other RBI came in the sixth inning which made it a 3-0 game, when he hit one to right field to score Jose Ramirez.
Since joining the Indians, Bruce is hitting four-four-nine (.444).
